Whale Island is in Van Phong Bay, 60km East of NhaTrang City - an ideal place for resting and enjoying many beautifulsights and relics of Whale island. Coming to Whale Island, touristswill learn about the fishing work of the inhabitants, the habits andcustoms of minority living in Van Phong Bay. For entertainment, you canplay some fantastic water sports such as: Catamaran, Windsurf, diving,or snorkeling to discover diverse coral reefs and marine life inturquoise sea. After wonderful time of exploiting the ocean, you canwalk along the beach of soft white sand and coconut trees or climb themountain to watch lovely animals living in Whale island’s forest.Especially, you will stay in very nice bungalows along the beach, havemeals with Vietnamese and seafood specialties.

The resort is located 80 km North of Nha Trang atthe tip of an archipelago. It is absolute paradise – your own ‘desertisland’ where you can really get away from it all!

The bamboobungalows right on the beachfront are complete with shower & wc,and offer accommodation for up to 60 guests. Meals are served 3 times aday and are a delicious combination of traditional Vietnamese cuisinewith a strong French influence. (Probably something to do with the factthat the resort is owned and run by a Frenchman called Michel togetherwith his lovely Vietnamese wife, Lan Phuong)

Accommodation

Room: The20 traditional bungalows are constructed in bamboo with seasightseeing. Simple or double beds with mosquito net, every on pillar"paillote" is equipped with a fan, with a shower room with sink andtoilet. Five economic rooms (rooms with 3 or 4 beds with garden view)are also available for groups with special price.

News: from 19 May 2004, Nha Trang airport is closed, and allflights will due at Cam Ranh airport instead. Cam Ranh airport is 30kmaway from Nha Trang center (base on New High way road). It takes you 20minus by car/bus.
Full board in bungalow including 3 meals, two ways transfer by carfrom Nha Trang and two ways boat transfer from Dam Mon. Additionallunch: US$ 6
- Four beds room are in a house style and is not located in the front beach
- We do transfer from Nha Trang City or Cam Ranh airport (30km south from Nha Trang).
Check-in time at 14: 00, Check-out time at 12: 00.
Late check-out: 12: 00 - 18: 00 is subject to 50% room change for 1 night staying. After 18: 00, full night charge is applied.
Reserved room will be held until 18: 00 on the arrival date, unless guarantee by credit card or special arrangement are made.

At the end an active or idle day, youwill enjoy the sunset over the Cordillere from the terrace of the bar.At aperitif time people use to speak about sport performances of theday.
