Mr. Ky has over 100 albums of stamps and banknotes.

He is very proud of a stamp set featuring heroine Mac Thi Buoi.  It comprises four stamps issued in 1956. This is the most valuable stamp set in Vietnam at present.

Mr. Ky also collects stories about the stamps he owns. This display feature Queen Nam Phuong, the consort of the last emperor, Bao Dai.

These are stamps used at the Viet Bac military base in 1943. Envelopes with one stamp are normal letters and envelopes with 2, 3 and 4 stamps are express letters.

The first stamp set of the Vietnam Democratic Republic was issued in 1946.

An ancient coin that Emperor Tu Duc granted mandarin Le Ngo Cat for his compilation of an historical book in 1870. In a trip to the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai, Mr. Ky bought this coin from a descendant of the Le family.
